July 23, 2021 – August 8, 2021 – The 2020 summer Olympic Games, the Games of the XXXII Olympiad, take place in Tokyo, Japan.
The Tokyo Olympic 2020 sport pictograms are designed to subtly communicate the characteristics and athleticism of each sport, while paying tribute to the original pictograms which were first introduced at the Tokyo 1964 Games – and have been used at every Olympic Games since.
